RankSages began in 2010 as a hands-on search practice. From the start, the work was practical rather than theoretical: getting inside the code, understanding how search engines actually rank pages, and helping good businesses become findable online. Over the years that practice grew into a founder-led agency that has built more than 100 client sites for companies around the world.
For most of that history, "search" meant one thing — ranking on Google. Then the ground shifted. AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews started answering the questions people used to type into a search box, often without sending a single click to a website. A brand could still rank well and quietly lose visibility, because a growing share of its audience was getting answers from AI instead of from a list of links.
That change is the reason RankSages looks the way it does today. We decided early that AI search could not be a paid add-on or an afterthought — it had to be built into how we work for every client. So we combine the technical SEO craft we have practiced since 2010 with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and we keep the whole thing pointed at one outcome: helping brands get found, cited, and chosen across Google and AI search.
I built RankSages because I was tired of watching good businesses get bad advice. Buyers ask ChatGPT for recommendations now, and most agencies still have no answer for that shift.
